Hyderabad, February 17, 2026: Rapido’s operations in Hyderabad are supporting a large base of driver partners across its bike, auto and cab categories, with more than 5.4 lakh active captains currently operating in the city.
According to the company, Hyderabad has recorded over 34.3 lakh total captain registrations across categories. Captains in the city report average monthly earnings between ₹65,000 and ₹1,00,000 depending on vehicle type and working hours, with typical daily earnings ranging from ₹3,000 to ₹4,000.
Nearly half of captains in Hyderabad identify Rapido as their primary source of income, indicating a shift from supplementary earnings to full time livelihood dependence.
Hyderabad accounts for more than 9.1 lakh rides per day on the platform, translating to approximately 2.43 crore rides each month. Of these, around 4.7 lakh rides occur during peak office and college hours, creating high frequency earning windows for captains.

The company stated that commuter savings can reach up to ₹10,000 per month compared to alternative modes, contributing to rider demand and sustained trip volumes.
Rapido operates across more than 400 cities in India and facilitates over 5 million rides per day across bike taxis, autos, cabs, parcel deliveries and other mobility services.
