Without Heels, How To Look Tall In Sharara

Wedding season is upon us, and we can’t wait to break out our ethnic attire. The sharara is the most popular Indian costume in 2022, and I’m sure you’ll be wearing it during the wedding season.

When coupled with heels, it looks stunning. Heels, on the other hand, are not for everyone. You’ve come to the correct spot if you’re one of them. To seem tall in a sharara without wearing heels, follow the steps below.

Choose a short Kurti.
The kurta length is also essential. You should avoid wearing a kurta that is too long since it will make you appear short. A short-length kurta will make your legs appear longer, giving you the appearance of more length. You’ll appear taller this way.

If you choose a long kurta, it will conceal the majority of your legs, making you appear shorter. This is because lengthy legs provide the impression of length.

Monochrome
Choose a monochromatic ensemble instead of mixing and matching colors for your sharara, kurta, and dupatta. This involves choosing a sharara with a single color for the sharara, kurta, and dupatta.

This is because using multiple colors causes a horizontal visual breakdown. It’s essential to minimize visual pollution in your dress since it will detract from the appearance of length.

If you wear a monochrome sharara, the illusion of length is maintained since your ensemble does not break down. As a result, it gives you a taller appearance without the inconvenience of wearing heels.

For the Win: Dark Colors
We understand that pastels are popular, and you want to keep up with the latest trends, but your first goal should be selecting clothes appropriate for you. If you want to appear taller, you should wear dark colors. We already know that dark colors make us appear skinny, but they also appear tall.

This is because bright colors make you appear thick and hefty, making you appear short.
If you want to appear taller, choose colors like black, navy blue, violet, bottle green, etc. Dark colors are also elegant and appropriate for any occasion.
Shararas come in a variety of forms and patterns. Giant prints are a no-no; we’ve previously advised you to wear dark monotone clothing. However, if you wish to wear a patterned sharara, avoid using thick designs.
We’re not suggesting you can’t dress up in a big way. We’re advising you to choose modest prints if you wish to appear taller. Larger images focus emphasis on your frame, making you appear shorter. A sharara with subtle designs will lengthen you and make you seem taller.
