Even before 2020, when we were living a pleasant pandemic-free existence, we knew the need for a balanced diet for our entire health. It is unattainable to exaggerate the significance of eating a well-balanced, nutritious diet. However, we all know that we only take a certain amount of food in a single day, making it hard to ingest every vitamin. We have rarely been educated about nutrient-dense food, which can help healthily tackle this problem.
On Instagram, nutritionist Lovneet Batra provided a list of foods that are high in nutrients. She scribbled a long list and requested everyone incorporate these foods into their diet.
Lentil Moong
It is high in “essential amino acids.” Not only that, but moong lentils have a lower phytic acid level than other legumes and grains, making them a more accessible source of protein.
Ragi
“While all millets are healthy, ragi stands out since it is gluten-free and high in protein, calcium, and potassium when compared to different millets.” It’s also abundant in “polyphenols and dietary fiber, both of which have several health advantages.”
Chickpeas
According to the dietician, chickpeas are high in protein, folate (vitamin B9), iron, zinc, and fiber. She went on to say that if you eat it regularly, it “may even help offset the development and progression of several chronic diseases,” thanks to its high fiber and protein content.
Cashews
One of the world’s most popular nuts, Cashews, contain “high amounts of vegetable protein and fat,” are high in protein, and have “optimal nutritional density in terms of healthy minerals and vitamins.”
