‘Shine on, Shane,’ says Amul to Shane Warne

Shane Warne, the 52-year-old cricketer, died on March 4, 2022.

Amul has to respect Australian cricketer Shane Warne, who died of a suspected heart attack on March 4, 2022.

The Amul girl is shown bending down in respect for Warne as the famed spinner prepares to bowl in a somber black and white backdrop.

“Shine on, Shane” and “RIP Warnier, (1969 – 2022)” are written on the topical, referencing the cricketer’s nickname. “#Amul Topical: Tribute to the Legendary Leg Spinner…” Amul labeled its topical.

The concept is swiftly gaining traction among cricket fans. A person who appreciated the tribute said, “This is such a heartwarming tribute @Amul Coop always gets it right.”
This isn’t the first time Amul has based a topical on Warne. In December 2006, the dairy company congratulated Warne on becoming the first bowler to reach the illustrious milestone of 700 test wickets.
Amul, which usually incorporates cricket stars in their advertising, has also highlighted some of Warne’s less-than-glory moments. It aired a documentary named “The Big Clash” in 2013 when he got into an on-field brawl with West Indies cricketer Marlon Samuels during the Big Bash League. Previously, Amul released a controversy involving Shane Warne and Mark Waugh after they were accused of disclosing information to a bookmaker in 1994.
Shane Warne’s untimely death has shocked cricket fans all around the world. Coincidentally, the 52-year-old had paid respect to Rod Marsh, an Australian cricketer who died of a heart attack just hours before Warne.
