During a news conference, an owl pees on the sign language interpreter

The sad situation occurred in the middle of Deputy Premier Steven Miles’ speech, which Webb was signing at the conference.

When politicians are besieged with difficult questions from journalists, press conferences can quickly become uncomfortable. In Australia, though, a sign language interpreter had a difficult day at work after being pooped on by a bird!

The unwelcome guest flying by as it decided to relieve itself interrupted Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk’s press conference briefing in Brisbane on Wednesday. A large glob of bird excrement dropped on AUSLAN interpreter Mike Webb’s shoulder and face while he was live on television.

“Oh, sh*t,” he was heard exclaiming as he realised the bird had discharged itself right on top of his brow. He removed his jacket while someone came over to grab him some tissues to mop up the mess.

The sad situation occurred in the middle of Deputy Premier Steven Miles’ speech, which Webb was signing at the conference.
Despite the fact that the occurrence would have left many people frantic, Webb, a seasoned professional, quickly continued his duties without his blue jacket.
The incident sparked a flurry of social media comments, with many people, including Palaszczuk, applauding the “amazing Mikey” for handling the situation like a pro. “Nothing can stop our fabulous Mikey,” she tweeted following the press session, naming the perpetrator as a “owl.”
Even the Queensland Police Department got in on the act, tweeting, “Can confirm police have initiated an inquiry into this fly by hooting.”
People couldn’t get enough of the potty humour as the video and photographs went viral, while also admiring Webb’s professionalism. While some stated that “it’s good luck,” others did not agree with that interpretation of the incident.
