So, in classic desi fashion, a woman from Germany married a man from Bihar’s Nawada. The breathtaking photos from their magical wedding ceremony have gone viral online, and their narrative is simply too compelling to pass up.

Larrisa Belch is a German woman who was born and raised in Germany. She married Satyendra Kumar, a Bihar native from Nawada. They were both research students in Sweden. While Satyendra was working on skin cancer research, Larissa was working on prostate cancer research. They met in 2019 and decided to marry three years later after getting to know each other.

Larissa looked stunning in her desi bridal gown. She wore a blue-and-red lehenga and was adorned with beautiful jewellery. Satyendra looked stunning in a gold sherwani.

They both planned to get married in India, and Larissa was curious about the culture. “I have to travel to India to enjoy my life.” “Everyone here is incredibly friendly,” Larissa added. There is a cultural divide between us. “I don’t know much Hindi, but Satyendra helps me translate,” she added.
Larissa arrived in India on a special visa to marry Satyendra. She desired to marry in accordance with Indian ceremonies and customs. Her parents were unable to attend her wedding due to visa complications, but Satyendra’s entire family was present and enthusiastically celebrated their love. The wedding took place at a hotel in Rajgir.
Satyendra Kumar is the son of Berota, Bihar residents Vishnudev Mahato and Shyama Devi.
What a touching love story!
