Garuda Aerospace, India’s leading drone startup, continues to gain trust with its vision of building a safe and trustworthy drone ecosystem in India.
As India prepares to celebrate 75 years of Independence, and as celebrations for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav begin to peak, Garuda Aerospace announced the completion of its seed plantation initiative announced in June 2022.
Keeping up to its promise of planting 75,000 seeds, firm partnered with the prestigious Rotary Club Bombay and the Tamil Nadu Forest Department to achieve this milestone.
Garuda Aerospace has received constant recognition through the numerous initiative it continues to undertake that contribute to the country’s growth and development.
The Vriksh Vaahan drone designed by Garuda Aerospace for seeding and agricultural purposes was used for this plantation drive.
The drone not only helped in increasing efficiency but reduced environmental damage. The drones helped spray seeds and also monitored the timely health status of all the trees around. Agriculture drones manufactured by Garuda Aerospace are known to help farmers by reducing farming costs and regular crop monitoring.
Speaking on fulfilling the company’s promise ahead of India’s 75th Independence Day, Agnishwar Jayapraksh, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, said, “We are thankful and happy that we were able to partner with the Rotary Club of Bombay and the Tamil Nadu Forest Department for this achievement. At Garuda Aerospace, we intend to have a global footprint that impacts society, our environment, and our country in a positive way with the use of robust technology that increases efficiency, reduces costs, and adds more value. With this initiative, we believe we are a step closer to achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering farmers and helping them reduce costs.”
