107 e-buses to be supplied to KDMT by Causis E-Mobility
Causis E-Mobility, a net zero emission mass transit company and a part of the CAUSIS Group Ltd, London has strengthened its base further in India and bagged yet another mandate from KDMC one of the prominent Municipal Corporation locality in Maharashtra
EuraBus, a berlin-based e-bus produced by Causis E- Mobility, will be seen operating in the Kalyan-Dombivli municipal areas and surrounding areas.
CAUSIS E-Mobility has been awarded a Letter of Award for the procurement and maintenance, on a per kilometre basis, of 107 completely built 9 Mtr, midi, pure electric AC/Non-Ac buses with drivers and ancillary electrical and civil infrastructure over a twelve-year period.
In comparison to the others, EuraBus, a 9-meter bus given to KDMC, has the lowest life cycle expenses. Its lightweight modular European design idea, minimal maintenance and serving costs, great range, and extended battery life provide a distinct edge to the ecosystem.
The large battery reduces the need for an elaborate charging infrastructure. As a result, operators benefit from lower electricity rates during nighttime charging.
