The story about Young Churchill

The young Churchill had quite an unhappy life with failing grades in school. His interest in the military started sprouting as he grew to become an adult. .His father thought that it was a good idea for him to enter the army profession. While in military school, he managed to acquire skills and knowledge to be a top graduate. Later he worked as a soldier and journalist. Upon his return to Britain, Winston went ahead with the political world, and in 1900 he became a Conservative member of Parliament. He had increasingly associated himself with the Liberals of Parliament.

Defining 20 the century

He is considered one of the defining features of the 20th century, remembered for his inspirational speeches and for leading Britain to victory in the second World War. But this is quite surprising that Winston Churchill had a patchy academic record. His childhood did little to suggest his future greatness. He was a great reader known for his ability to process vast quantities of text and quickly grasp his key points. For a man quoted in the English Language perhaps more than anybody, it is interesting to know that Churchill was a great fan of quotations collections.

The Nobel prize-awarding committee has considered him for the literature award. In 1953 Churchill began his painting career, going on to produce some 500 works during his lifetime.

He made countless attractive landscapes. In 1947 Churchill had two works accepted by the Royal Academy. But the time he had died, Winston had showcased 50 of his work at the Academy.
