Industrial Wastewater treated amid COVID-19

The demand for water across various sectors has always been on the rise, particularly the industrial sector, including automobile, FMCG, healthcare, cement, chemicals, textiles, engineering, construction, hospitality, mining, pharmaceuticals, petroleum, natural gas, steel, etc. The rising demand also means that there is increased consumption, and therefore, this is making India move towards the category of water-stressed nations.

● Easy availability of water is one of the critical requirements for the daily operations of an estimated 77% of the industries. Out of which 17% pay a higher price to get it, and the remaining sectors do not have easy access to water.
● This urgency in a gradual shortage of availability of water for industries calls for a smart solution. A solution that comes to the rescue of the budding industries and the existing ones, which does not add to the business’s pressure.

The Way Ahead

● As it is visible that the virus does not discriminate – many individuals, families, small and big business enterprises in rural and urban areas have been affected by it.
● Although all the governments are fighting fiercely to bring their citizens out of this disaster, it is advisable to unlearn the normal we knew because the current phase will be the New Normal, and it will be better for us to get accustomed to this as soon as possible.
● We, at Roserve, contribute to the optimum utilization of water. Not only do we help replenish the existing resource we have today, but we also commit to saving and conserving water and being a part of the country’s industrial growth.
