New book shares a story of loss and hope as one family trekked the valley of subfertility and grief

MELBOURNE, Australia, “Ever wondered where God is when you are hurting the most? Could the loss of a child ever be part of His plan?” L. A. Field asks. In “Silver Lining: The Story of Summer, Snow, and Sky” (published by WestBow Press), readers will discover the story that unfolds for Field and her family when they face these questions as they renew their trust in God’s faithfulness and forge ahead towards a bold, new life.

This is Field’s story of loss and hope as her family face challenges of subfertility, triplet births and grief. This is their account of how Summer, Snow, and Sky led them through stormy seasons to find their own precious silver lining. God showed them incredible love and healing through their relationship with him and the support of others.

“I share personal journal entries and experiences with God. Throughout the book, there are encouragements from family and friends, visions and hearing God’s still small voice speak to me and spur me on to see the promise for my life fulfilled,” Field says.

When asked what she wants readers to take away from the book, Field answers, “Loss comes to all of us but as we focus on the promise of our eternal destiny, looking outside of our situation to help others, making meaning out of our grief, keeping our perspective hopeful and grateful and mostly, drawing near to God and trusting Him, we set ourselves up to receive healing no matter what we face.” For more details about the book, please visit https://www.westbowpress.com/en/bookstore/bookdetails/816846-silver-lining
