The School of Law at Mahindra University, one of India’s fastest-growing multidisciplinary educational institutions dedicated to legal education, announced today the launch of its three-year flagship LL.B. (Hons.) program.
The innovative program intends to reform legal education and raise a new generation of legal professionals who are knowledgeable in critical areas such as corporate law, business law, criminal law, international law, intellectual property law, civil & technological law, private law, and public law.
The course structure will include information on Indian legal systems, public international law, and other topics.

- To offer admission to 60 students in the first batch.
The School of Law’s student exchange program with premier foreign colleges provides students with several professional opportunities, both globally and domestically.
As elective honours, the integrative multidisciplinary curriculum aspires to incorporate future-ready and industry-specific specialities.
This value-add will assist students in preparing for a rapidly changing judicial environment while also allowing them to become well-rounded professionals capable of addressing the domain’s demanding requirements.
“The faculty of law, as one of India’s largest and most dynamic professions, expects practitioners to be nimble and varied in their learnings and approach to the judiciary.” Over the last two decades, there has been a significant increase in the demand for qualified legal practitioners. According to current industry estimates, the intake for law professionals across India’s major law firms climbed by almost 15-25% in 2021, and it is expected to grow further in the next years. Our objective for this innovative LL.B. (Hons.) curriculum is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the complexities of law and to enable them to apply this knowledge in the service of society and the protection of the greater good.”

The flagship course aims to develop a workforce of internationally trained law professionals capable of managing the judiciary’s increasing needs.”

The permitted number of students for the three-year LL.B. (Hons.) curriculum is 60. Students must have a minimum of 60% or an equivalent grade in undergrad to be eligible for this course.
Students must also go through a panel interview to verify their worth and gain admission. The application deadline has passed for admissions is 27th Oct 2022
