Admissions are now open for the MSc. Program in Mechanical Engineering at Israel’s Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU).
The M.Sc. program’s goal is to give students with expertise and advanced knowledge in mechanical engineering, which will help them center their careers and create technologies to meet a wide range of human needs.
Graduating with an M.Sc. degree are equipped to assume senior R&D positions in the industry and may continue their Ph.D. studies.
Program delivery:
The MSc program is completed within two academic years (4 semesters) and taught completely in English.
Robotics, Control, Autonomous Systems, Solid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Energy Technologies, Bioinspired Materials and Systems, Micro and Nano-Electromechanical Systems, System Design and Monitoring, and Particular Materials Technology are some of the specialisations available in Mechanical Engineering programmes.

Tuition: The tuition fee for the MSc program is approximately $5,000 USD annually.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related fields from an accredited institution at a minimum GPA of 80/100.
- A TOEFL or comparable globally recognised English proficiency exam score of at least 85/120 is necessary. Applicants who earned their B.Sc. in an English-taught programme are exempt from the English proficiency requirement.
- GRE is recommended but not required.
Before applying to the M.Sc. program, an overseas applicant should contact a potential advisor from the Department of ME.program.
Scholarship:
Outstanding students are eligible for scholarships covering tuition fees and living expenses. Faculty may be able to provide additional financial support through their research grants, determined individually.
