This holiday season, Monkey Bar presents, “Monkey’s Tipsy Christmas” from December 15, 2022- 31 st 2022. It is time to let go of the year that was and get ready for days filled with the Christmas spirit that will have you coming back for more. On the cards – Stirry Nights: Christmas Edition- a night of carols followed by special performances by local bands; the Ugly Sweater Party which is exactly as it sounds, Ho! Ho!
Glow – a one of its kind glow in the dark Neon Party, Merry Little Christmas Drunch – a noon-downer with a fun party vibe and the incredibly boozy Monkey’s Tipsy Christmas Cocktail Menu with the best cocktails to get you into the holiday spirit! So gather your crew and head to Monkey Bar the best Christmas venue this season. With the longest weekend parties leading up to Christmas it’s time to get set for a lot of Ho Ho Ho, and a bit of Glow! And it’s all happening at your very own Monkey Bar in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.
Monkey’s Tipsy Christmas has something special for everyone, even if you have been a naughty elf all year round. From live artists performances, Stirry Nights that will get you into the mood for some dancing, carol sessions that will get your soul singing, DJ sets and a noon-downer for everyone who wants to start the party early.
Monkey Bar will be all decked up and Christmas ready from December 15 th , with special themed décor. Kick off the festivities with the amazing new festive cocktail menu Monkey’s Tipsy Christmas on offer from Dec 15, 2022 onwards. With the party mood on, drinks can’t be far behind; to keep you in good cheer and the gastropub spirits aloft.
Especially crafted with that quintessential Monkey twist, paying ode to our favourite Christmas characters with an inventiveness and playfulness so you can toast the holiday season in style. These will be just the kind of gifts, you wished were under your Christmas Tree this season. Mrs. Claus comes down fiery red with bourbon, lime juice, red wine, berry puree and syrup; Drunken Rudolph will melt your heart with a concoction of rum, milk and hot chocolate; our Tipsy Elf will have you singing along as you sip on bourbon and cinnamon spiked apple juice; while Jingle Juice will be just the pick-me-up you need with gin, Kahlua, pumpkin syrup and a shot of espresso. Of course our regular signature cocktails, wide range of premium alcohol, wines and beer will also be on offer through the
season.
That’s not all, Monkey Bar is also throwing the longest Christmas weekend party, with four days of non-stop themed evenings and afternoons, designed to make even the Grinch smile. The Christmas weekend starts at Monkey Bar with a special Christmas edition of Stirry Nights on December 22, 2022. Start off the evening with carol singing and move on to a live performance to get the tempo going.
Then on Dec 23, 2022, make sure to grab your drabbiest, ugliest sweater from your wardrobe and join us for the Ugly Sweater Party, an ode to those comfortable eye sores that keep our bodies and souls warm every winter. Adding high energy to the evening is a special DJ and live percussionist act in each city with percussionist Jyotirmoy Chakraborty and Resident DJ Rwikraj Ghoshal in Kolkata; Percussionist Vaibhav Verma with DJ Dipesh Kataria in Mumbai and Percussionist Rishi Panda and DJ Dev in Delhi.
Things heat up on Dec 24th evening with some Ho! Ho! Glow! Get ready to twinkle like a star yourself at this glow in the dark Neon Party with our resident DJs promising you a night to remember. The fun evening starts 9 pm onwards across cities with a special percussion set in Kolkata with Resident DJ Rwikraj Ghoshal and Sawmik Das; DJ Sandy at the console in Mumbai and Resident DJ Dev revving up the party in Delhi.
On Christmas Day, that’s Dec 25 th , treat yourself to our Merry Little Christmas Drunch, which promises to be anything but little! With loads of heady cocktails, great music, delicious small plates and sumptuous pub grub to keep you company, this party is from 1 pm to 8 pm, giving you seven indulgent hours to love the day! The music line up for the afternoon is quite incredible too with Delhi bringing in the live band Lost Radio followed by Resident DJ Dev, while Mumbai has DJ Sandy followed by DJ Dipesh Kataria and DJ Sawmik Das and DJ Sameer Khan perform in Kolkata. There’s also a special dessert give- away for everyone on Christmas eve and Christmas Day.
Amidst all the partying, if you get hungry – remember, we’ve got you covered there too. Small plates packed with a variety of regional Indian-inspired dishes, a selection of unpretentious, hearty pub food, scrumptious burgers, and crisp thin crust pizzas with interesting toppings and a wide selection of sumptuous mains.
