InventHelp Inventor Develops Bicycle Accessory to Support a Backpack (DNV-318)

“I wanted to create a bicycle accessory to help reduce the stress of a heavy backpack on the back and shoulders,” said an inventor, from Boulder, Colo., “so I invented the BICYCLE RACK ADAPTER. My design could also help distribute the weight of the backpack to prevent shifting while riding.”

The invention provides an effective way to support a backpack when riding a bicycle. In doing so, it helps to alleviate some of the weight stress on the back and shoulders. As a result, it enhances safety and comfort and it could help to reduce fatigue. The invention features a durable design that is easy to apply and use so it is ideal for bicyclists. Additionally, it is producible in design variations and a prototype model is available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Denver sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
