Dr. Marco Vietor, the creator of hear.com, introduced Piyush Jain to the latest German hearing aid technology, the Signia X, in 2017. Signia (previously Siemens) top engineers spent years researching and developing a gadget that combines the most sophisticated technologies with a design that disappears entirely behind or within the ear!
Dr. Vietor approached Piyush Jain with the idea of bringing this technology to the Indian market. Still, Piyush was cautious at first: he knew his mother had a hearing loss but refused to use hearing aids because she believed they were too large, unattractive, and would make her appear old.
Piyush requested his mother to test one of Signia’s gadgets, the Silk X, to check if the brand was as excellent as Dr. Vietor claimed. She observed that not only did she feel better right away, but no one could know she was wearing them!
“These hearing aids have improved not only my mother’s life but the lives of my entire family!” says Piyush Jain.
“Every family get-together, every minute spent watching television, every discussion became so simple. My entire family got happy as soon as she started wearing the gadgets!
