Dangerous animals on earth!

With so much biodiversity, our globe is teeming with animals of different kinds and sizes. And deadly animals to humans are no exception, ranging from small worms to the largest terrestrial animals.

Here is a list of the world’s most hazardous animals:

  1. Jellyfish in a box – each year, an estimated 100 people die as a result of this. Box jellyfish can be seen floating at modest speeds (up to 8 kilometers per hour) in warm coastal seas worldwide, but the lethal form is found in the Indian and Pacific Oceans off the coast of northern Australia. Their bioluminescent box-like state drags around 15 tentacles stretching up to 3 meters each, all lined with thousands of nematocysts, or stinging cells, making them the most poisonous marine animal in the world. Their poisons affect the skin, neurological system, and heart. While antivenom is available for the box jellyfish, most victims go into shock and die of drowning or heart failure before being treated.
  2. The Cape Buffalo – Each year, an estimated 200 people die as a result of this. The Cape buffalo is externally a doubt 1 of Africa’s common dangerous creatures, plus it is also known as the “widowmaker” or “black death.” These ferocious and unpredictable monsters can weigh up to 1,000 kg and stand up to 1.7 meters tall. They are fearless and will attack any predator that attempts to take their young. They usually travel in groups, but they are one of the few creatures in Africa that would aggressively stalk and kill humans if left alone. The buffalo was a favorite of trophy hunters, and they have been known to attack humans by turning back on them before charging, then stomping or goring them to death with their strong horns. Every year, an estimated 200 individuals are killed by buffaloes.
  3. Lion – Each year, an estimated 200 people are killed by lions. The lion is 1 of the world’s best predators as it is the apex predator of the African wild. While humans are not their natural prey, an estimated 200 people are murdered by lions each year. Sick male lions and opportunistic attacks in regions where the lions’ natural prey has been depleted are mostly to blame for this death rate.
