Review –
The performances are superb. Even though Fahadh is well renowned for his outstanding act every time, he still leaves the audience in wonder with another stellar show. Everything about him is fantastic, from the way he walks to the way he delivers his dialogue. Baburaj is an excellent choice for the role of Jomon. He fully gets into the character’s skin by assuming the appropriate appearance. He brilliantly portrays Jomon as a character. Unnimaya’s performance as Bincy is also convincing and memorable. The silence she describes is flawless, with no imperfections. The film is directed by Fahadh Faasil and stars Fahadh Faasil. Joji is a superbly designed crime thriller with excellent performances, cinematography, and sound design. However, it suffers from a bit of lack of involvement at moments. The film, a modern-day retelling of William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” also stars Baburaj, Shammi Thilakan, and Unnimaya Prasad’s insignificant parts. Fahadh plays Joji, who comes from a wealthy family and is the youngest son in the film. Unfortunately, his greed for money and wealth blinds him, and as the family’s backbone crumbles, he manipulates the entire circumstance and destroys the family from the ground up. Joji is another one of Dileesh Pothan’s best films. The Fahadh-Dileesh team has delivered another fantastic masterpiece. The picture, which is based on Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” does credit to its source material. Although, however, the storyline is slow-paced and may feel like a long-run, the BGM, actors, mood, and directing of the picture more than make up for minor flaws.
