SPAA INDIA– a global sports education brand , solely engaged in the promotion of “Sports Management” education in India and abroad, organized a webinar on a very pertinent topic of “Sports Travel”, for the benefit of its stakeholders. The talk was delivered by the CSS India Head- Ms. Depti Ummat, who herself is a sports aficionado and a globe trotter. Her London based Head Office coordinates with intercontinental sports training and tournament activities , particularly football, for sports lovers. Oozing with sports spirits. Ms.Deepti elaborated sports travel and adventure sports as well. In her view, sports travel not only helps in upskilling ones technical skills , but also shapes players’ personality too. During such events, engagement with technical experts, give new dimensions of training to probationers. Such sports tours also take up very pertinent sports issues like nutrition, physical fitness, inter-cultural exchanges and international ambience which help one in acclimatizing in new environment.
Ms. Deepti further elaborated how sports travel is quite beneficial to all age groups and helps in imbibing valuable human traits like soft skills, team building, self-confidence, leadership, and positive attitude as well. A sense of responsibility and pride naturally comes to an active participant. She also mentioned that CSS-UK had also organized several programmes in the past in exotic destinations like Brazil, Europe, Australia and many more. She further added that such sports enthusiasts also get placements and there is huge demand in sports industry.
The webinar had “Q&A” round too where audiences raised their queries.
