Indira Gandhi was the 1st female Prime Minister in India. Her birth anniversary is celebrated on 19th, November. She was the daughter of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Kamal Nehru. She was called the “Iron Lady of the nation” She was the second largest serving CM after her father elected from 1966 to March 1977. During her tenure as Prime minister, Indira Gandhi was known as the Iron Lady. On her 1st birth anniversary, we pay homage to the Late Smt Indira Gandhi. Her will and determination led the country to great heights.
