Yoginii promotes open dialogue on women’s health through Saheli community initiative

Kashika Malhotra, Founder and CEO, Yoginii, highlights confidence building, informed choices, and community led health awareness through Saheli The Yoginii Circle

New Delhi, March 31, 2026: Yoginii is expanding its community focused health education efforts through its CSR initiative, Saheli The Yoginii Circle, aimed at creating safe spaces for conversations around menstrual and mental health.
Launched in September 2025, the program has reached around 200 participants through a series of interactive sessions conducted across NGO communities in Delhi. The initiative has primarily engaged adolescent girls aged 13 to 15, along with a dedicated session for elderly women.

Saheli is designed as an experience led program that encourages open dialogue rather than lecture based learning. The sessions cover topics such as menstrual health, nutrition, mental well being, movement, and breathwork, allowing participants to ask questions and share experiences.
Kashika Malhotra, Founder and CEO, Yoginii, said, “Saheli focuses on enabling informed choices by helping women and girls understand their health better. The aim is to build confidence and create awareness that extends beyond individuals into families and communities.”

The initiative also addresses gaps in early education around menstruation, stigma associated with mental health, and limited awareness of nutrition and lifestyle practices in underserved communities.
By combining traditional wellness practices with contemporary health knowledge, the program aims to make these conversations more accessible and relevant.

Yoginii plans to expand Saheli to additional communities in 2026, including women working in informal sectors such as factories and construction sites. The organisation also intends to conduct monthly sessions to build continuity and long term impact.
The initiative reflects a growing focus on grassroots engagement in health education, with community led models playing an important role in improving awareness and confidence among women.
