Wiggles’ Pune Team and Mumbai Rotaract District 3141 feed over 2500 community and stray dogs
Widely recognized as a brand built upon purpose, leading pet-care brand Wiggles recently kicked off India’s largest feeding drive as it celebrated International Dog Day.
As a part of its larger campaign, firm’ Pune Team, along with Rotaract District 3141, Mumbai, conducted a city-wide dog feeding campaign. Celebrated on August 26 every year, is dedicated to creating awareness about the importance of their health, nutrition, and wellness.
With an aim to bring about a positive social impact and create awareness about the right nutrition for every dog, Pune Team and Rotaract District 3141 collaboratively fed over 2500 community and stray dogs across 50 different locations in Mumbai and Pune. A total of 550 kgs of the recently launched dog food was donated by Wiggles for this campaign.
Giving the campaign a digital footprint, Wiggles and Rotaract District 3141 also created awareness through user-generated content directly from pet parents on why dogs deserve to have nutritious food. The on-ground campaign executed on August 24 in Mumbai and August 26 in Pune 2022 saw participation from over 300 volunteers who created awareness with the general public on the importance of nutrition for dogs and the nutrient content required for dogs of different ages.
