Everyone has a dream, but a dream is achieved when we stay inclined to it. But for Bhanu Dhingra, life had another story to unfold, amid family and financial pressure. That ultimately landed him pursuing the course of Chartered Accountancy after he finished his high school. He admits that he was pursuing it only because of different pressures, and at the same time, he felt like his dream was fading away. Two years into the course and clearing his IPCC exams, he started working as an article under a renowned CA in Delhi. 6 months into the articleship, he started to feel the distance from his original dream. He was unhappy with the things going on. That’s when he made up his mind, that he could no longer take this path.

He left the CA office and never looked back. He always dreamt of becoming a fashion designer, and this was the time to break the shackles and chase his dream. Not considering the consequences, he started preparing for his entrance exams to apply for a fashion design course in several institutes, including NIFT. Due to financial constraints, he could not opt for them, and then he got to know about Fashionista- The School of Fashion Technology. He applied and cleared the selection process and then informed his family. He believed this college could embark on his journey into the fashion world, and it very well did. He pursued a four years course with them and gave it his 100%.

His internship landed him in Mumbai with an embroidery design house. His first job was with a French design company where he designed embroideries for European brands like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Ingie, and many others. He also took care of designing clothes for brands like IHS Paris and Fernand Ratier while working with the French design house, which was named as Safrane, Paris. He also worked at their Delhi studio. From there afterward, he has worked with multiple Indian designer brands, launched his own bespoke label as a freelancer, and now he works for Tarun Tahiliani.

Bhanu Dhingra, shares to Prittle Prattle News by sharing a press release, ‘I am glad that today I’m an alumnus of such an institution where the teachers leave no stone unturned to help you understand designing. The dedication of the faculty, the best of the studying environment that a student can get is here at FashionistaI cannot be any more thankful to the entire faculty of the institute for always keeping trust in me and making me achieve my goal. I continue to look forward to strengthening my foot in the field and will always be thankful to Fashionista.”
