#UseYourHeart – Kolkata based Artist Soumita Joins the Bandwagon to fight the COVID-19 movement. We are living in unprecedented times. The COVID-19 pandemic has shone a spotlight on the healthcare profession, national healthcare systems, and our responsibilities for our health and society’s vulnerable. World Heart Day is celebrated on 29th September of every year. It is aimed at drawing people’s attention to heart illness and the range of associated health issues. The day is commemorated to promote different preventative steps and lifestyle changes to avoid any cardiovascular diseases, like heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and any other condition related to the same. On average, more than 17 million people die from heat-related illnesses every year. This is more than that of people who die from HIV, malaria, and cancer. People with heart disease and its risk factors are more vulnerable to severe forms of COVID-19, and up to 1 in 5 patients hospitalized by COVID-19 have evidence of heart muscle injury.
