After his memes with Supriya Sule went viral, Shashi Tharoor said, ‘kuch toh log kahenge’

In a tweet on Thursday, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor put an end to online conjecture by sharing specifics of his conversation with Supriya Sule. In a later tweet, the Thiruvananthapuram MP tagged Sule and tweeted the lyrics to Kishore Kumar’s timeless song Kuch To Log Kahenge.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor became meme fodder once more when a video of him chatting to Baramati MP Supriya Sule during a Lok Sabha session went viral on social media. As the video gets viral on Twitter, netizens were curious to learn what Tharoor and Sule discussed. Later, the Thiruvananthapuram MP stopped online speculation by sharing specifics of his conversation with Sule in a Twitter post. Tharoor tagged Supriya Sule in a later tweet and uploaded lyrics to Kishore Kumar’s timeless song Kuch To Log Kahenge.

Earlier on Thursday, Shashi Tharoor tweeted, “For all those who’ve been laughing at Supriya Sule and my expense over the brief exchange in the Lok Sabha, she was questioning me a policy question because she was about to speak next.” I bent over to hear her (sic) because she was speaking gently so as not to disturb Farooq Sahib.

Tharoor was seen bending over his allotted chair to converse with Sule in the short film published on the microblogging site. While all was going on in the background, Farooq Abdullah, a major leader and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, delivered his address. Tharoor’s smile and leaning stance toward Sule elicited a barrage of emotions.

The video clip was from Tuesday when the Lower House held a brief discussion on the “Situation in Ukraine.”
