According to the IAF, the drone attack on Jammu Air Base was well-planned, and Mi-17 helicopters were likely targets.

According to the IAF FIR obtained exclusively by News18, IAF officers think the parked choppers were the intended targets.

According to the IAF: Was the drone strike in Jammu a message to India, or were the Mi-17 helicopters stationed in the technical area the intended targets?

According to the IAF appears to believe the latter. According to a copy of the Jammu Police FIR obtained exclusively by News18, IAF officers think the parked choppers were the intended targets.

According to the complaint filed by Junior Warrant Officer Darshan Singh with Jammu police, “this crime was done in a highly protected location to question the security and destroy the national aerial assets by certain anti-national elements.”

According to the IAF to the FIR, a bomb occurred inside the Air Force station Satwari campus at 1:37 a.m. on June 27, elaborating on the sequence of events leading up to the incident. After approximately six minutes, another explosion was fired “by an unknown drone as part of a well-planned conspiracy,” according to the report.

According to intelligence agencies, the increased terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir, including the drone attack in Jammu, the killing of an SPO in the Valley, and the arrest of a TRF terrorist with an IED, are all part of Pakistan’s attempt to raise tensions following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s all-party meeting with Jammu and Kashmir politicians.

Agencies are also looking into if the attack on Hafiz Saeed’s university is linked to the events in Jammu. “If ISI believes India had anything to do with the bomb at Hafiz’s college and if Jammu is a retaliation strike, it is a topic of investigation,” a source added.

Meanwhile, investigators are awaiting the results of a forensic lab test to determine whether RDX was used in the IEDs. A technical study is also being carried out to prevent the Jammu airport’s internet band mobile usage pattern from continuing. This, investigators believe, might give some information, mainly if the drone depended on the internet to send live photos to its operators.
