Pearl V Puri was detained on Friday, June 4th, for allegedly raping a young girl. The announcement struck shockwaves across the television business, and several TV celebrities came out in favor of the actor, believing he was innocent. Producer Ekta Kapoor provided some crucial details regarding the case and stated that the girl’s mother informed her that Pearl is clear.
She’d even written a post expressing her admiration for the actor. An audio recording of Ekta conversing with the victim’s mother has been released on the internet. In the video, Ekta encourages the girl’s mother to come out and tell the truth. The girl’s mother claims on the tape that she knows Pearl is innocent while also disclosing that her separated husband is purposefully accusing the star of smearing her reputation. Ekta is heard constantly questioning why she is bringing up the actor’s name in the case.
The victim’s mother responds, claiming she has no idea why He (her husband) is making these false accusations. She has no idea what’s wrong with him.
The Mumbai Police officers charged Pearl with violating Section 376 of the IPC and the POCSO Act. The actor, who was remanded in judicial detention for 14 days, would be transported to Thane prison as soon as his RT-PCR test results returned negative. He is now detained at the Waliv police station. He will be sent to Thane Jail if the test findings are negative.
