NIO, an IoT-powered, cloud-agnostic, scalable solution, enables real-time monitoring, normalization, comparison, and reduction of energy consumption and GHG emissions. This enables enterprises to reduce carbon emissions by optimizing the energy intensity of assets and processes. It also allows calculation, reporting, and identifying emission optimization potential for workspaces and shop floors.
“We are honored to have been chosen as winners of the Cisco Global Digital Sustainability Challenge for our NIO entry. NIO aligns with HCL’s “Act, Pact, and Impact” sustainability strategy and Cisco’s vision of powering an inclusive future for all. A team of dedicated engineers has taken on the challenge to continue developing a roadmap for this solution covering Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. This success is a validation of our commitment to using technology for building sustainable businesses.”
