Says Madhushree, “I love India, and Vande Mataram used to play in my mind long after I heard since my childhood. Every time I hear the song, I get goosebumps. This year, I decided that while in my heart I will always hear Lataji’s voice, I wanted to pay tribute to the nation and The Nightingale of India.

I requested Robby Badal to think of different compositions, and he came up with a beautiful melody. I have rendered my voice to the sing with reverence and gratitude. Our Mother India has given us so much. I would like this dong to be a tribute to our nation and our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion of our 75th Year of Independence, Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

This is my way of sending the strength of our Tirangaa to every household musically. Music has no borders, and through my tribute of Vande Mataram, I would like our National Flag to fly high in every Indian’s home and heart, the world over. says Madhushree.
