Honouring this year’s theme for International Women’s Day 2022 #BreakTheBias, Oberoi Mall organised a week-long event and on-ground activities galore with exciting offers to celebrate and pamper the women patrons. The event received a tremendous response from the mall visitors.
Especially for International Women’s Day I.e., on 8th March, Oberoi mall partnered with brands like Envi, Entisi, Poetry by Love & Cheesecake, Sephora, and Goregaon Social to create a bespoke programme of events for a memorable and fun-filled evening for select ladies and their girl friends.
Oberoi Mall pampered these ladies by providing a variety of services like free parking, hair styling, glamorous make-up, lip-smacking snacks, and celebrated the day by cake cutting.
Additionally, on 8th March Oberoi Mall also gave all the lady shoppers 2% back as Club UNO reward points (Oberoi Mall’s rewards program) on no minimum shopping bill amount. The reward points earned are redeemable against gift vouchers of various brands present at Oberoi Mall.
On the backdrop of the #BreakTheBias theme and as part of the week-long celebration that started from 5th to 13th March 2022, the Oberoi mall had curated a special arcade game to promote the message of social acceptability for women in society.
The game included a display of a customised digital screen where participants can express their support against bias behaviour towards women in the society by slicing the biased words scrolling down from the screen such as ‘Gender-stereotyping’, ‘Societal mindsets’ etc. The women patrons shopping for Rs. 2,000/- or more at Oberoi Mall also got a chance to play this exciting game and won assured gift vouchers.
Aligned with the International Women’s Day 2022 theme, the mall had also created a photo-booth space with a specially designed chair looking like a throne to experience a sense of pride about being a woman and spread the message that ‘In every woman, there is a Queen.’
