The Top High-End Fashion Brands in India

The next phase of expansion for global fashion firms is in India. The timing is ideal for high-end luxury fashion brands to grow their market and introduce items in India.

There have been several significant regulatory changes in the country, including modifications to the FDI policy. A policy modification was made in 2018. The automated path allows for 100 percent FDI in single-brand retail. White goods companies and multinational fashion labels benefit from this policy. These improvements have been aimed at bolstering India’s manufacturing industry, increasing middle-class income, and promoting Make in India.

Armani

This is one of the most prominent and costly brands in the world. Therefore it doesn’t require any further explanation. Giorgio Armani launched the company in 1975. This Italian fashion brand sells practically everything a person might want in terms of fashion. Haute couture, accessories, perfume, cosmetics, home interiors, and so on are all included. All of these items are sold under several sub-labels. Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Giorgio Armani Prive, Armani Collezioni, Armani Casa, Armani Baby, Armani Junior, A/X Armani Exchange, and AJ – Armani Jeans are among the brands included. Armani might be regarded as a prominent brand in general. Armani’s fashion line is called Emporio Armani. It consists of both ready-to-wear and runway collections.

Dior

Elegance, variety, and luxurious design are the most important words to define this high-end fashion label. Christian Dior founded the business in 1946 and is known for its leather products, footwear, fashion accessories, jewelry, make-up, skincare, and perfumes. On the other hand, the brand is Haute couture’s vanguard. In 2016, the brand was introduced to the Indian market. Since then, it has succeeded in building a name among Indian customers thanks to its superb French fashion trends. Even though there are so many high-end fashion labels in the country, Dior has managed to gain popularity among fashion customers. The diverse product varieties supplied by the best fashion apparel brand, including sophisticated designer handbags, garments, sunglasses, fragrances, and more, are the cause for this.

Prada

Prada is a highly influential premium fashion house. For almost 30 years, it has been designing clothing. And it has managed to remain at the top for so long. Their enduring brand aesthetic, paired with their talent for reinvention, is one of the critical reasons for their longevity.

This Italian luxury brand, founded in 1913 by Mario Prada, is not doing well in India. It is high-end clothing, handbag, and footwear brand that sells sunglasses.

Ermenegildo Zegna Group

The Ermenegildo Zegna Group is the world’s leader in luxury men’s clothes. This Italian luxury design house specializes in men’s apparel and accessories. After the government enabled single-brand retailers to do so, this was the first luxury fashion brand retailer to enter India with a 51 percent interest. With its ready-to-wear men’s clothesline, the firm entered the Indian market, followed by accessories, knitwear, and sportswear—all of the products catered to the upper echelon of the market. The DLF Emporio in New Delhi, the Palladium Annexe in Mumbai, and the Taj Krishna in Hyderabad are the three stores in India.
Hugo Boss
The creator of this German luxury-style house was named after him. The brand is known for personifying sophisticated, trendy basics for men and women. The women’s line is inspired by feminine trends and emphasizes sophisticated specs and luxurious materials. On the other hand, the men’s line expands to include exquisite and modern evening and boardroom dresses. They attempt to achieve sophisticated, effortless aesthetics.
Hugo Boss launched cooperation with Genesis Luxury in February 2016 to enter the Indian market. Currently, there are two Boss stores: one in Mumbai’s Palladium Annexe and another in New Delhi’s DLF Emporio.
