Gaming-Inspired Jewelry Brand BISOULOVELY Secures $500K in First Hour on Kickstarter

MONTREAL, May 13, 2021 BISOULOVELY, a jewelry brand inspired by magical girls, is excited to announce that its role playing game (RPG)-inspired collection has exceeded all expectations on Kickstarter. In just one hour, pledges for this highly-anticipated line soared to $500K making it the fastest to hit the $500K mark by any jewelry company to date.
“I am ecstatic and can’t believe how much my nerdy, fun collection is being embraced by the RPG community!” said Bree, the 26-year old founder of BISOULOVELY. “Who knew there would be this many gaming fans who would want our pieces…I set a target that I genuinely thought would be a bit of a stretch and we exceeded it in an hour! Now I need to brace myself for the enormous, but rewarding task of delivering them to my little army all over the world! Looks like I need to hire more help!”
BISOULOVELY was launched by a young mix-raced game developer after she designed a ring she loved inspired by one of her favorite anime and it turned out to be a hit when she shared it on Twitter. She learned more about designing and producing jewelry and invested in creating a small collection. She’s been successfully marketing and selling this initial collection for the past year while designing her ultimate offering that she is now funding through her Kickstarter.
“We are super excited to see how the rest of the Kickstarter campaign goes! The first day has been so intense and fun, and I’m excited for more people to discover us! I can’t be more thankful to our fans and supporters who have been incredible in championing our little subcultures and who were instrumental in getting the early word out on our Kickstarter,” said Bree. “I would also like to thank my small team for their support and look forward to working with them to fulfill these orders and make sure every single piece is as sparkly as the next!”
The Kickstarter ends on June 6. There are four starter classes: Warrior, Mage, Archer and Healer/Archbishop. Each class offers a ring, mismatched stud earrings, and pendant. All of the pieces are crafted in .925 sterling silver and plated in rose and yellow gold when needed to achieve the look desired. 14K customized versions are also available.
