- Mumbai Indians: The Mumbai Indians have won three IPL titles, the most of any franchise, but they, too, have experienced ups and downs. In the first IPL, they had some of the top players on their team, led by Sachin Tendulkar. A lot was anticipated of a squad of this caliber, yet they couldn’t win the IPL for five seasons. Appointing Rohit Sharma as captain amid the 2013 season proved to be a wise decision. As a result, they went on to win three of the following five championships.
