International Migrants day: Celebrating around the world on 16th December 2020

On migrants day, we should celebrate the wide-ranging contributions migrants have made to our world and societies. None of us would be here if our ancestors wouldn’t have migrated from their roots to other countries for a better future. All migrants are entitled to equal protection rights, and they deserve all the human rights of the country. We should urge people and leaders to bring global impact to life so that migration works for all. Throughout human history, migration is a courageous expression that leads to a better life.

How is the United Nations helping the development of migrants?

Today globalization is advanced through communication and transportation, which has dramatically increased the number of people who desire and can move to other places. The new era has created challenges and opportunities for societies throughout the world. It has also served to create a linkage between migration and development. Migration draws increasing attention nowadays. Mixed with various elements, it is now seeing a new course of action. There are multiple complexities with the unique challenges coming up for migration. We required enhanced cooperation with other countries to come collectively together to work for their development. The United Nations is actively playing a catalyst role in this area and giving back up support for many migrations.

What is the challenge faced by them?

Our idea is to promote humanity and the development of migrants for a better future, which will enable them to lead a better life. By honoring the International Day of Migrants, the main idea is to dedicate this day to better living and the future of migrants who have faced hardship to establish themselves in other countries. We look forward to a better society for them by the United Nations Organisation.
