Harris, Ph.D., an Intellectual Property and Technology Practice associate in the Boston office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been selected for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s (GBCC) Boston’s Future Leaders Program. She is one of approximately 85 future leaders under the age of 40 selected across a variety of industries.

The year-long program provides emerging leaders with hands-on projects and workshops led by faculty from Harvard Business School on topics including management, social responsibility, inclusive leadership, and effective communications. The program also provides participants an opportunity to foster genuine relationships with peers and senior executives in the Boston business community.

Harris is a registered patent attorney and focuses her law practice on the life sciences industry. Through strategic procurement, management, and defense, she builds global intellectual property portfolios for start-ups, universities, and life science companies with technologies relating to gene-editing, oncology, immuno-oncology, biomarkers, diagnostics, biologics, stem cell compositions, proteomics, genetics, food and agriculture science, drug delivery, and medical devices. Prior to practicing law, she obtained her Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology from Vanderbilt University.
