Arthan to organize a forum on Women in Shaping the future
Delhi, 3/3/21: Arthan is organizing the ‘Women in Leadership: Shaping the future’ forum on 8th March 2021, 2:30 to 5:30 pm. This session is open for all. Noting the efforts and the effectiveness of women in fighting against the effects of the global pandemic, ‘Women in leadership: achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world’ has been identified as the theme for the International Women’s Day 2021 by the UN. To create a world where women have equitable opportunities to grow and excel, there is a need to create platforms for women to share their learnings and lessons.
The forum will feature both men and women leaders and focus on how to create equal opportunities
A lot has been said about women in leadership positions. Various articles and discussion forums talk about the lessons we can learn from women on being extremely effective leaders. The onset of the pandemic brought this conversation to the forefront, with many organizations and even nations with women leaders showing better performance on various indicators. According to an analysis published in the Harvard Business Review in December 2020, women were rated to be more effective with indicators that they performed better in a crisis.
