Woman shares recipe for steamed ‘corona vada,’ leaving netizens perplexed this 2022

From a West Bengal sweet shop's Corona Misti to a Vietnamese chef's Coronaburger, there have been numerous instances where people thought it would be a good idea to consume the virus-shaped dishes in order to put an end to it.

In a viral video, a woman gave steamed vadas with potato fillings a unique twist by using rice grains to make them look like the virus.

However, the inventive woman soon takes a different path while stuffing the dough balls. The woman coats the balls in soaked rice to look like the Covid-19 virus’s crowns. While it appears to be relatively mundane at first, once steamed and as the rice grains on the coating, the uncanny resemblance to the virus makes people uneasy.

“Corona vada! Corona vada!” “Bharat ki naari sab par bhaari!” wrote Mimpi on Twitter, sharing the detailed recipe for anyone to recreate the unique virus-themed snack.

Although not everyone was thrilled with the appearance of the snack, they did comment that it appeared intriguing and praised her creativity.

Since the pandemic’s beginning, people have tried to cope by donning creative hats online, which has also inspired many virus-themed foods.
