Kolkata, December 2021:  Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata, located across the Biswa Bangla gate in New Town and at the heart of Kolkata’s emerging IT hub celebrates its two glorious years of offering warm hospitality in the ‘City of Joy ‘on 5th December 2021.

To add some vibrancy to the celebrations, Vertex-The Liquid Restaurant has curated and will be serving a lavish South American brunch called ‘Ole at Vertex’ this December. The delicacies of South America are a gastronomic gold mine with a richness of exotic ingredients. The region’s culinary was largely influenced by the original occupants, but immigrants from all over the world have added their flavours and skills.
To serve the guests with an array of unique delectable dishes, Vertex- “The Liquid Restaurant” has thoughtfully designed a menu largely inspired by the South American cuisines. For ‘starters’ the visitants can choose between the ‘vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters’ which includes, ‘Nena, s papas, Rellenos (Cuban stuffed potato ball with cheese)’, Yucca fries (Venezuelan) (starchy crispy fried vegetables) and non-vegetarian appetizers will comprise of, ‘Chicken empanadas (Portugal)’, Puffed dough stuffed and baked, Enchilada meatballs (Mexico), Meatball tossed with tomato salsa rolled with tortilla bread baked with cheddar cheese.
After savouring on the starters, people can limber themselves up by drinking yummy ‘soups’, ‘Locro de papa-V(Peruvian)'(Slow cooked young potato flavoured with cheese), ‘Sancochado-NV (Colombia)’ (Clear soup with Braised lamb and herbs cooked until cooked finished with herb). The brunch food list will also offer some delicious ‘salads’, ‘Ensalada de Pallares-V (Peru) (lima beans, white vinegar, lime juice, oregano, black pepper, chilli, onion, tomatoes and cilantro)’, ‘Huevos di ablos-NV(Mexican)(egg filled with cheese and jalapeno)’. The mains boast an array of flavourful classics like, ‘Pastel de choclo V(Spanish)(corn cake or casserole)’, ‘Cuban Stuffed peppers V (Cuban)’ prepared with rich components. A scrumptious array of classic confections can be found in the section of exquisite desserts, ‘Impossible chocolate flan(Argentina)’, ‘Flan Napolitano (Latin)’, and ‘Chocotorta(Argentina)’. The components of South American palate are always distinct as compared to other cuisines and people always enjoy trying different lip-smacking flavours. The patrons apart from witnessing the spectacular view from Vertex will now be able to taste the scrumptious dishes of South America.
