The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat brings the eternal flavours of North Indian cuisine to the City of Joy

Kolkata, November’21: India has always been known as the land embedded with rich art, culture and tradition across the globe.

Celebrating the aromatic flavours of North-Indian cuisine, The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat is hosting the “Chronicles of Up North India” in the City of Joy from 12th November to 21st November’21 for their patrons.

The executive chef of the star- property, Chef Vivek Kalia along with his expert in-house culinary team has specially curated an ambrosial spread for the guests. A descendant of Himachal, Chef Vivek brings to the table a flair of the essence and the taste of regional Indian delights through various cooking styles. The dishes presented during this food festival at ‘Seasonal Taste’ will entice your palates with myriad mouth-watering delicacies from the major states of North India namely Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand.

The exquisite flavours and a blend of the distinct fragrances of spices in the North Indian cuisine are widely enjoyed by the masses. The 10-day long food festival will showcase magnificent specialities like, ‘Sarso Ka Saag’, ‘Makki ki Roti’, ‘Rogan Josh’, ‘Modur Pulao’, ‘Mash Daal’, ‘Bhey’, ‘Butter Chicken’, ‘Chana Madra’, ‘Tudkiya Bhaat’, ‘Dum Aloo’, ‘Aloo Ke Gutke’, and ‘ Tabak Maaz’ to name a few. A live ‘Kebab Counter’ has been set up to satiate the taste buds of the visitors. The dishes are cooked with exotic ingredients dedicated to the rustic nuances across the different states.
