Experts say the Glasgow Climate Agreement, agreed at COP26, undermines “climate justice.”

The purpose is to urge the government to strengthen its climate goals to avoid the effects of global warming and prevent the planet from warming above 1.5 degrees Celsius from pre-industrial levels, with a rulebook for the Paris Agreement. It was to be completed. According to experts, the Glasgow Climate Pact has made some progress on emission reduction targets, but it has damaged the vision of climate justice.

What is climate justice?

According to the United Nations Environment Program, atmosphere justice is the fair treatment of all in developing guidelines and implementing measures to combat climate change.

D. Raghunandan, scientists and members of the Delhi Science Forum, often find that hurricanes, floods, and droughts have the most significant impact on poorly marginalized communities with little responsibility for global warming and climate change. I said it was too much. He explained that climate justice arose from the idea that the historical responsibility for climate change lies with the wealthy and robust. However, it still affects the poor and the weakest disproportionately. He said,

“This concept of “climate justice” shifts climate protection from an effort to reduce emissions to an approach that also takes into account human rights and inequality. It is the industrialized nations that have saved wealth by burning fossil fuels. Still, the worst has been hit hard by the social and social and disability of tribes, the poor, farmers, the fishing community, children, and the disabled—financially vulnerable people. Extreme weather is caused by climate change. Global warming is not only a purely environmental issue but also an ethical and political issue, which is the purpose of climate justice.”

Climate Justice: What Happened at COP26? According to Sunita Narain, director of the Center for Science and Environment (CSE), a New Delhi-based think tank, about 70% of the world’s population needs carbon storage for development. I can’t tell you not to evolve.
However, developing countries with low per capita carbon dioxide emissions are being called upon to reduce their developmental health by complying with the Paris Agreement. She said COP26 needs to counter this fraud and ensure that it is addressed while at the same time providing a low-carbon pathway in the world.

According to CSE experts, COP26 has failed because of climate justice. According to the CSE, at COP26, the following happened:

-Civil society and activists were excluded from the discussion.

-Large developed countries, significant pollutants, did not promise to phase out domestic fossil fuels but only stopped international funding.

-An upwardly increasing climate funding target was not agreed upon. The final text describes recognizing and meeting the needs of climate funding in developing countries.

-Funds for losses and damages related to the cost of destruction due to extreme weather are not disclosed. The COP has decided to establish a dialogue between the parties, stakeholders, and related organizations to support efforts to avoid, minimize and repair the losses and damages associated with climate change.

-The agreement does not mention past emissions. It simply “attentions” to someone about the importance of the concept of “climate justice” when action is taken to combat climate change.

Mr. Narain argued that the rejection of climate justice as a “partially” important concept is a fatal flaw in the Glasgow Climate Pact. She said that States parties do not understand that climate justice is a prerequisite for adequate climate protection but is action-based.

Naline argued that rejecting climate justice as a “partially” important concept is a fatal flaw in the Glasgow Climate Pact. She said that States parties do not understand that climate justice is a prerequisite for adequate climate protection but is action-based.

Raghunandan said that neglect of “climate justice” in global arrangements makes vulnerable communities vulnerable to difficulty, hunger, and evacuation, as poor people with scarce resources to deal with the damage. He emphasized that he would be exposed to the high risk of climate change.
