Shubham Agrawal opens up about Weddings – Post-Lockdown!
Shubham Agrawal, Founder of Shaadi By Creative Minds, Mumbai shared his views and experience with the reporter of Prittle prattle News that “We have been recently hearing a lot of News about the Event Industry. But does anyone have any Concrete Idea? NO. But yes, we do have a Tentative Forecast of upcoming days.”
Being into the industry since the year, Demonization came up. During Demonization People said Now People won’t take up lavish Weddings. It turned out to be a wrong intimation. The industry grew, and it has been rapidly growing even after Demonization. Post-COVID, or I must say, along with COVID, this industry will maintain its stability from Jan 2021. We will have many clients in Nov & Dec 2020 as those months have massive muhrat Dates, but yes, people might restrain a bit. As of now, our Partners in Industry have already started its operations. By partners, we mean Caterers, Hotels, Resorts, Decorators. They are gradually starting there service, and some Hotels / Resorts have already taken up around 15 Weddings in June keeping Government Guidelines in mind. So it’s not at all no for this industry. People are not engaging with event planners because the government guidelines say there can be only 50 people in a wedding, including Guests, Family, Event Planners, Photographers, and any person associated with the client except the Hotel Team. So for increasing the count of guests, clients are cutting down on the part of Event Planners. But by Nov, we expect this count will increase to around 150-200 Pax Minimum. By November Event Industry, we will start its operation gradually with the same energy, and by March 2021, we will be in the same place where we were in March 2020.
Hotels have already come up with all Safety Programs like The Leela Palaces & Hotels have come with a Hygiene Plan Called “Suraksha,” Marriott International has come up with a program called “WE CARE” where they maintain upmost hygiene right from the Airport Pickup to the time of Checkout of the Guest. They will be sanitizing every area the guests move in at short intervals. If we talk about Weddings / Conferences, every Banquet Hall will disinfect before and after the Event, Every equipment bought from outside either by the Event planner or Decorator should be sanitized before it is placed in the Hall. So it is just a New NORMAL we will be adopting.
