An FIR has been filed against Bhushan Kumar for allegedly raping a lady under the false promise of a job at his firm.
T-Series managing director Bhushan Kumar refuted rape accusations made by a woman on Friday. T-Series issued a statement calling the lawsuit made against Bhushan “false and nasty.” T-Series stated that the claim was a “counterblast” to the company’s extortion case filed against the lady in the issue.
“The current lawsuit filed by her is nothing more than a counterblast to the complaint filed against her and her accomplice for the extortion offense,” an extract from T-Series’ statement stated. An FIR was filed against Bhushan Kumar on Thursday at the DN Nagar police station in Andheri (West), Mumbai, for allegedly raping a lady on the false promise of a job at his firm.
According to authorities, the 30-year-old lady said she was sexually abused from September 2017 until last year. The complaint submitted against Mr. Bhushan Kumar is false and malicious, and its contents are disputed. It has been erroneously claimed that the lady in issue was sexually abused between 2017 and 2020 under the guise of providing her with the job. It is well known that she has previously worked with the T-Series label in film and music videos.
Around March 2021, she approached Mr. Bhushan Kumar, asking for assistance finding one of the web series she planned to make, but was respectfully declined. In June 2021, following the lifting of the lockdown in Maharashtra, she approached the T-Series label in cooperation with her accomplice, seeking a large quantity of money as an extortion payment.
As a result, the T-Series banner filed a complaint with authorities at Amboli police station on July 1, 2021, regarding the attempted extortion. We also have proof for the extortion attempt in the form of an audiotape, which will be given to the investigative agency.
The current case is only a rebuttal to the extortion charge brought against her and her accomplice. In this context, we are discussing with our attorneys and will take necessary legal action.
