Karan Shah, Director, Society Tea, and Mythili Zatakia, Founder Director, The Junoon Foundation, highlight cultural support, artist opportunities, and ecosystem sustainability
Mumbai, April 1, 2026: Society Tea has partnered with The Junoon Foundation for “Maya,” a stage production aimed at supporting the performing arts ecosystem in India.
The fundraising performance is scheduled for April 9 at the Experimental Theatre, NCPA, and will feature a blend of classical and contemporary dance.
The production follows Junoon’s earlier presentation “KAYA” and continues its exploration of storytelling through movement. Mythili Zatakia returns in her role from the earlier production, alongside Bhavisha Kothari, who will be featured in the current performance.
The initiative is part of The Junoon Foundation’s efforts to create sustainable support systems for artists by building platforms that enable access and opportunities within the performing arts community.
Karan Shah, Director, Society Tea, said the association reflects the brand’s focus on supporting creativity and meaningful cultural engagement.
Mythili Zatakia, Founder Director, The Junoon Foundation, said collaborations with partners help expand platforms for artists and contribute to strengthening the performing arts ecosystem.
As part of the partnership, Society Tea will engage audiences at the venue through curated on ground experiences aligned with the theme of connection and shared cultural moments.
The fundraiser aims to contribute towards sustaining artistic initiatives while encouraging wider participation in the performing arts
