RRR Collections: SS Rajamouli Film Earns Rs 500 Crore in 3 Days

RRR, a film by SS Rajamouli, is having a dream run at the box office, with each version breaking records in both home and foreign markets. Given that the picture is a visual spectacle, its box office collection has been progressively growing one day at a time. RRR has surpassed the Rs 500-crore mark at the box office in just three days. In its original Telugu language, the historical action drama is on track to exceed Baahubali 2.

RRR grossed Rs. Two hundred twenty-three crores on its first day of release worldwide. The film grossed Rs 156 crore on its first day in India.

Saturday brought in a phenomenal Rs 114.38 crore (roughly), and now Sunday has given some massive numbers at the ticket booth, taking the three-day total to well over Rs 500 crore.

This is more amazing when considering the film’s pre-release income, which is expected to be about Rs 500 crore. Feeling the film’s pre-release total, the SS Rajamouli directors are now looking at a whopping total of Rs 1000 crore (estimated) after its first weekend at the Box Office.

The Tamil Nadu Box Office alone provided Rs 30 crore, while the Nizam belt contributed Rs 53.45 crore (roughly). RRR was one of the first films to do well in the Nizam belt. The Hindi version of the film is expected to collect around Rs 73 crore (net), making it the second-best weekend for any post-pandemic film after Sooryavanshi, which earned Rs 77 crore after three days.

The epic masterwork, which also stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, has become India’s biggest-ever opener, surpassing Baahubali 2, which grossed Rs. Two hundred seventeen crores on its first day worldwide.
After multiple delays over the past two years, RRR finally entered theatres on March 25. The big-budget film has been in development for roughly three years. Because of the latest coronavirus outbreak, the filming and release dates were pushed back.
