Rebecca, a 3rd Standard Student of Holy Cross Convent School Kalyan (West), was in the news for breaking her piggy bank to make a movie this lockdown. ‘Missing You Amma’ is a short movie based on the real-life events of the little one.
Scripted and Directed by Rebecca Mathew, her movie ‘Missing You Amma’ highlights the experience of a little girl in Mumbai, without her Amma being around during this pandemic lockdown.
Rebecca is a die-hard fan of Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor with a passionate interest in movies across genres, including Hindi, English, Malayalam, Tamil & Marathi.
As there have been no new movie releases this lockdown, she has decided to make a movie along with her brother. Her brother Ryan Mathew who is 17-year-old helped her with the designing and production of the film.
While launching the movie, Rebecca Said to Prittle Prattle News by sharing a press release, “It was great fun working on the film. I have kept it very short and crisp; the movie is my dream sequence that I have gone through this lockdown period. As I used to sleep with my Amma and to listen to her tales always, I missed it very badly during this time as she was stuck in a different country.
