Milky Chance, the ‘Stolen Dance’ rockers, will perform at CNY’s Paper Mill Island

The “Stolen Dance” rockers are heading to Central New York, Milky Chance.

On Friday, June 17, Milky Chance will headline Syracuse radio station 95X’s “Festapaloozathon” concert at the Paper Mill Island Amphitheater in Baldwinsville, N.Y. At 6:15 p.m., special guests Ripe, The Kaleidoscope Kid, and Gary Carpentier will kick off the concert.

VIP packages cost $70 and include:

  • A cash liquor bar.
  • A food buffet.
  • Private bathrooms.
  • A premium viewing space in front of the stage.
  • A commemorative VIP laminate.
  • The show is open to people of all ages. However, VIP ticket holders must be 21 or older.

Milky Chance is a German rock band formed by singer-guitarist Clemens Rehbein and bassist-percussionist Philipp Dausch. The group is most known for its debut single, “Stolen Dance,” which reached the Top 40 in the United States and has streamed nearly 1 billion times on Spotify since its release in 2013. Other songs include “Cocoon,” “Down by the River,” “Flashed Junk Mind,” and the upcoming track “Synchronize.”

Trouble No More’s tribute to the Allman Brothers Band’s “Eat a Peach” album on June 29; jam band Umphrey’s McGee on Friday, July 8; and Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime on July 23 are among the other upcoming Paper Mill Island concerts.
Paper Mill Island is located at 136 Spensieri Ave. in Baldwinsville, on the picturesque Seneca River. There is no public parking at the venue, although there is parking nearby around Oswego and E. Genesee Streets.
