The villagers of Sindewahi tehsil in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district were taken aback when a metal ring and a cylinder-like object were discovered. The objects were still hot when discovered, and the news has fueled speculation that they were most likely space debris.
Last night, meteor-like light rays were seen across the sky in several parts of Maharashtra. Locals spotted an iron ring lying in an open plot in Ladbori village, Sindewahi tehsil, Maharashtra around 7.50 p.m., as per the Chandrapur district collector Ajay Gulhane.
