Original Songs over the remake Songs

Do you remember in olden times when a song used to play in a theatre, people used to get up to dance on the song. The entire theatre would cherish the song by loudly singing it by dancing on it or just by watching the fun. For a long time, we have been attaching certain emotions with few songs. They go beyond movies at times and peep in our lives on various occasions like weddings, parties, clubs, gyms, etc. We have our set of songs that we can’t live without listening to. We create our playlists and make the songs even closer.

But how does it feel when someone ruins your favorite song for you? Do your emotions change attached to that song? Do you feel extremely possessive about that song? Do you feel irritated when someone does remakes of them, giving it a modern touch and ruining it? These days people are expressing their opinions on not making remakes of the song. Yet we come across many movies which make remakes of the songs, ruining them for us. Not only the originality of it is disturbed, but we are somewhere asked to compromise on the mood, vibe, and class of the songs. Yes, you have guessed it right. In this article, we will talk about the top 10 songs that shouldn’t have been remade

1) Masakali

People lashed out on the internet as soon as the remix of Masakali came out. The original song of Masakali captures the essence of Delhi with the fantastic dance of Sonam Kapoor. The song helps us light up our mood in any given situation, and it has calmness within it. Whereas, new Masakali featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria has an entirely different vibe.

2) Ek do teen

Ek do teen is one of the superhits songs of the era done by Madhuri Dixit. People have had too many emotions attached to it. Love for Madhuri Dixit, passion for the dance and vibe of the song, added to everything. Before a couple of years, this song was remade starring Jacqueline Fernande and Tiger Shroff. The remake ruins the entire vibe and gives it an appeal of a bar song. Although some steps were repeated from the original song, people felt grace and expressions of Madhuri missing.

3) Muqabala

Even though original and remake, both Muqabala songs have Prabhu Deva in it, the original song is much more crispy and peppy; it makes you groove on its tune. The old song is neatly fitted into audiences’ memory lane that they refrain from accepting any new song.

4) Neend Churayi Meri

Neend churayi meri was one of the superhits featured in the movie Ishq. It has fabulous stars like Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Aamir Khan, and Kajol. The innocence of Kajol and Ajay and the bubbliness of Juhi and Amir had brought life to the song. The situation where the song comes in the movie had won everyone’s heart, adding a cherry on the top. However, it’s a remake that is entirely different from it. It stars Ajay and Parineeti Chopra, who barely have any chemistry.

5) Ole ole ole

The old and remake of this song, both star Saif Ali Khan and the audience, revered the first song whereas didn’t react well on the second. The first song has excellent dance moves and a party environment, whereas the second song barely has any dance moves. The song initially has many rhythms and beats, which is appropriate for dance, but in the remake, this point wasn’t kept in mind.

6) Ankhiyon se Goli mare

This was one of the best songs of Govinda and Raveena Tandon. The song was praised for the chemistry, dance, expressions, etc. The song gave an overall flippant vibe, which went very well with Govindaand Raveena Tandon‘s character in that movie. Whereas, the new song stars /Bhumi Pednekar,Kartik Aaryan, and Ananya Panday, who have not matched the level of dance with the former stars. The words have been a change that spoils the fun of the original song.

strong>7) Yeh Chand Sa Roshan Chehera

This song was a part of a hit movie, /Student of the Year, even though this song did find a way to parties and weddings, but people didn’t enjoy it much as the original song has perfect music that goes well the lyrics whereas the remake makes it sound a bit cacophonic.

8) Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast

Original Cheez Badi hai mast mast starred Akshay Kumar, and Raveena Tandon had superb chemistry hence the song was revered instantly by the audience. The cherry on the cake was perfect expressions, dancing, and music to the lyrics. In the remake of the song, the mood is completely ruined with no chemistry at all. Hence people did not like the song much.

Despite all of these, we can see people grooving on the tune of these songs, yet they have failed to take place in the audience’s heart. Do you know any such remakes? Do tell us your hated and loved remakes.
