Kasauli, April 5, 2026: The Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival marked its 10th edition with two days of live performances, bringing together artists, audiences, and supporters in a setting that combined music with a larger social purpose.
Organised by Genesis Foundation in association with 1842 Kasauli, the festival continued its focus on supporting children with congenital heart defects through fundraising and awareness.
Held at Baikunth Resort, the event witnessed participation from over 450 attendees across two days, with performances spanning rock, indie, blues, and contemporary Indian music.
Despite rainfall on the opening day, the festival continued with consistent audience engagement and participation, maintaining its community driven atmosphere.
The lineup included performances by Rear Admiral Nirmala Kannan, Sharmji and The Happy Factory, Prince and Mansa Jimmy on the first day, followed by Shrey Tandan, True Blue, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Indian Ocean on the second day.
Jyoti Sagar, Founder Trustee, Genesis Foundation, said the festival has evolved into a platform that connects people through music while supporting a shared cause.
Sameer Mutreja, Founding Director, Scapes India 1842 Kasauli, said the event reflects how cultural platforms can contribute to meaningful social outcomes while respecting local context.
Proceeds from the festival will support treatment for children affected by congenital heart defects, contributing to life saving medical care.
Over the past 25 years, Genesis Foundation has supported treatment for more than 5400 children, continuing its efforts to improve access to critical healthcare.
The 10th edition reinforces the festival’s role as a platform that connects music, community participation, and social impact.
