The wait for India’s most prestigious and cherished culinary award is over.
As part of the celebrations for International Chefs Day, the Indian Culinary Forum will deliver the 19th edition of the much-anticipated annual Chef Awards on October 14th.
The ICF will commemorate the efforts of 17 great culinary craftsmen by presenting honours during the Annual Chef Awards celebration on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Hotel Pride Plaza, Aerocity, New Delhi.
“The beloved Indian Chef Awards, first launched by ICF nineteen years ago in 2004, have become the Indian culinary industry’s most revered and appreciated testimonial for talent and skill recognition, as well as the largest forum for knowledge sharing between industry stakeholders.” “This year’s event will further cement the Indian Culinary Arena Awards as the top forum for knowledge sharing, talent recognition of Indian Chefs, and spreading goodwill and imprint of Indian food throughout the world,”
said Chef Davinder Kumar, President of the Indian Culinary Forum.
“The Award event features three elements, including Culinary Competitions, Knowledge Summit, and the Chef Awards, Over 150 professional chefs will compete in 11 different categories at the ICF culinary tournament, which will be held at Banarsidass Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Institute of Bakery & Culinary Arts in New Delhi. This year’s jury is chaired by WACS-certified famous chef Dayashankar Sharma, and the organising secretary is well-known Chef Sireesh Saxena.”

The Knowledge Summit, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, will provide a forum for discussion and reflection on industry-related problems.
The who’s who of the hospitality industry, academics, food reviewers, and connoisseurs will attend the Knowledge Summit, which aims to raise public knowledge about the profession.
This year’s Knowledge Summit will focus on how to put Indian food on the world culinary map and charting the future course for the Food & Beverage Industry.
“The ICF’s goal is not just to recognise talent, but also to empower talent with the most up-to-date culinary knowledge and abilities, which not only aids in career growth but also benefits the country by expanding the footprint of Indian cuisine over the world.”
